Monday November 21, 2011.

Hello there!
What did today bring for me? It just obviously wasn’t my day. Although it did start off like any other day. When I woke up, I felt a bit sick but it eventually passed. As I was walking to school I wasn’t looking where I was stepping, and fell into a hole, resulting in me falling to the ground and getting covered in dirt. Luckily, I don’t think anybody saw me so I got up and kept walking like nothing happened.
During the last two lessons at school before the bell went I was just about to publish a post that I had been working on for the last hour and a half or so. I had it perfect. Now, usually I write my posts in a word document then copy it into my blog, but this time I thought I would be alright to just post it straight away. So, just as a clicked on that little post button and waited for it to come up with the joyful message of ‘post successful’ but instead the daunting ‘Connection failed’ box come up. My work was deleted! As my adventure began trying to get my progress back, the only part of it I could find was not even one eighth of what I had. The worse bit was, during all the time it took me to write it, I couldn’t recall everything that I had in it. I suppose I will have to rewrite it some other time.
I got home just before 3.20 pm and had a quick drink before deciding that I would surprise my parents by cooking something for tea and desert. I went on the desktop computer so that I could print out the recipe for desert. As I was getting up to get the printed sheet, I stepped on a piece of broken glass from a mirror. I looked down to see my foot bleeding, I had cut foot. After washing and drying it I found that it wasn’t all that bad, so I stuck a bandaid on it and proceeded to prepare the ingredients.
While cooking the desert I turned my back for a few seconds, only to turn around to the saucepan of milk, cream, vanilla essence and sugar overflowing, going all over the stove. Luckily I got the saucepan off the stove before I lost too much of it. After the desert was finished and in the fridge to set, it was cleaned up, thankfully I got most of the marks off the stovetop.
Well, I suppose that at least today wasn’t a boring day. Hmm, I wonder what tomorrow will bring. Hopefully, not as much drama. J

  1. Oh Britt, I've had those sorts of days! They're terrible, aren't they? I've also had posts that I've taken ages to write erased due to a bad connection, so I've learnt now to copy before hitting that 'publish' button. See you tomorrow!
